

Professional and technical writers adapt specialized information accurately to help people make decisions, perform tasks or solve problems. With this focus for your English major, you will develop superior writing and computer skills while preparing for a career in writing, editing, publication production and project management.
You can pursue either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing. Both programs are 36 hours, but the BA requires an extra literature course while the BS makes mandatory the Writing with Technology II course.
