Linda Moser
Associate Professor
Linda Trinh Moser earned a B.A. in French and English at California State University-Sonoma and a Ph.D. in English at the University of California-Davis. An interest in diversity and the dynamics of "minority" and "majority" cultures forms the intersection of her personal and professional lives. While her scholarship focuses on Asian (North) American writers, her teaching responsibilities encompass a broader range of literature and cultures. Since coming to Missouri State in 1997, Dr. Moser has taught ten different undergraduate and graduate courses, all incorporating multicultural works and themes. She recently received a college teaching award. Last spring, she received a National Endowment for the Humanities grant to attend a summer institute at the East-West Center in Honolulu. Representing a broad cultural spectrum, Dr. Moser's courses and scholarship are linked by a desire to introduce a culturally diverse content and perspective for undergraduate students.
