Richard Neumann

Richard Neumann holds a Ph.D. in English from Florida State University. He teaches Fiction Writing and Literature at Missouri State, including courses in Crime Fiction and Film Noir, Postcolonial literature, Modern European literature, and Form and Theory of Prose. He is a Bread Loaf scholar and the recipient of the Alice Carter Award for Best Short Fiction. He's been the Ryan Memorial Lecturer at Xavier University. His short fiction has appeared in The High Plains Literary Review, The Laurel Review, and The Wisconsin Review, among others. He's been nominated for a Pushcart Prize twice.
