Folklore Minor

Requirements (minimum of 15 hours)

All students pursuing a B.A./B.F.A./B.S. in Folklore minor must complete the following required courses:

ENG 283: Introduction to Folklore 3 hrs.
ENG 385: Ozark Traditions 3 hrs.
ENG 483: Folklore and Literature 3 hrs.
ENG 485: American Folklore 3 hrs.
One course from:
ANT 320: Ethnographics
ANT 510: Ethnographic Research
ENG 583: Themes in Folkloristics
3 hrs.
Total 15 hrs.
