Mission
Students in the literature program at Missouri State are prepared to discuss and analyze literature at the most advanced level. Courses in this program allow students to develop individual criticism styles and skills and apply them to classics as well as contemporary literature. Students also have the opportunity to become involved in extracurricular activities in the literature field.
Program Description
All students in the literature program must complete all General Education requirements (see the General Education section of catalog). In addition to the General Education requirements, students must complete 36 hours of major requirements. Students in this program are also required to complete a minor.
Major Requirements (36 hours)
All students in the B.A. in English/Literature program must complete the following required courses:
