American, regional and international folklore
A 15-hour minor in folklore will help make you an expert of the traditions and wisdom of different cultures.
You will explore fairy tales, legends, myths, games and superstitions – the shared lore of a group of people. You will also learn to conduct ethnographic research.
Program requirements
As part of your folklore coursework, you will study literature, ethnography, American and Ozarks folklore.
