Earning a degree through our Professional Writing program will enable you to communicate specialized information clearly and concisely with the intent to help people make decisions, perform tasks, or solve problems. You will learn to create content useful in business and industry, such as manuals, grant proposals, websites, online help systems, marketing materials, and more. With this program you will develop superior writing and computer skills to prepare for careers in diverse fields involving writing, editing, publication production, project management, and areas where precise language is important.

Degree Options

We offer a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing. Both programs are 36 hours, though the BS makes mandatory the Writing with Technology II course. 

For those out of state or interested in attending online, the Professional Writing Program can be completed through traditional seated courses or entirely online in all degree types. Our online program is cost effective and highly rated for quality and affordability.
